ban incandescent light bulbs?

I personally hate the light given off by CFLs. Recently Ontario has been considering a similar ban, but hopefully the latest developments by GE (http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/27/ge-develops-high-efficiency-incandescent-bulbs/) will provide an satisfactory alternative. Otherwise I may just have to smuggle some into Canada

When we can solve the global poverty issue, including our issues in Canada - then we can tackle banning incandescent light bulbs. Until such time, most poor people will spend $0.79 at Wal-Mart on incandescent light bulbs vs. buying the more environmentally friendly ones for $4 a pop.
